COSTA No. 50 belongs to the grand tradition of Middle Eastern perfumery. It opens with oud and honey alongside bergamot, tangerine and pink pepper, lifted by elemi resin and nutmeg — the richness is announced from the very first spray. Inspired by the opulent Ahmed Al Maghribi Marj.
The heart unfolds into a warm bouquet of orange blossom, rose, jasmine and saffron, wrapped in cashmere wood, patchouli, vetiver and cinnamon. The base is where it truly settles — oud, leather, sandalwood, amber, ambergris and musk, with a fruity thread of raspberry and pear and a powdery touch of violet and ambrette seed that keeps the composition luminous rather than heavy.
